Apple iPhone 6s Email Manual configuration

E-mail use requires an account with an e-mail provider. A data plan for mobile internet is recommended.

Make sure that you have the following data:

• POP3 server address (to receive e-mail)
• POP3 username (usually your e-mail address)
• POP3 password
  

  Choose Next for step-by-step instructions.

• Go to the Start screen.
• Choose Settings.

• Scroll down.
• Choose Mail, Contacts, Calendars.

• Choose Add Account.

• Choose an option, in this case Other.

• Choose Add Mail Account.

• Under Name, enter your name
• Under Email, enter [[sp_email_address]]

• Under Password, enter [[sp_email_password]]
• Under Description, enter [[sp_email_name]]

• Choose Next.

• Choose POP.

• Under INCOMING MAIL SERVER:
• Under Host Name, enter [[sp_email_pop]]
• Under Username, enter [[sp_email_username]]
• Under Password, enter [[sp_email_password]]

• Scroll down.
• Under OUTGOING MAIL SERVER:
• Under Host Name, enter [[sp_email_smtp]]

• Choose Save.
• The information will be verified.
• If an error message is displayed, verify the settings and choose Save.

• Choose your e-mail account.

• Under OUTGOING MAIL SERVER, choose SMTP.

• Under PRIMARY SERVER, choose [[sp_email_smtp]].

• [[sp_email_ssl_smtp_pop]] Use SSL.
• Under Server Port, enter [[sp_email_smtpport]]

• Choose Done.

• Choose your e-mail account.

• Scroll down.
• Choose Advanced.

• [[sp_email_ssl_pop]] Use SSL.
• Under Server Port, enter [[sp_email_popport]]

• Choose your e-mail account.

• Choose Done.

• The e-mail account has been configured and is ready for use.
• Return to the Start screen.

• Start screen.
• Switch off the iPhone 6s and restart it in order to activate the settings.
• E-mail setup successful? Proceed with sending e-mails.
